Townsite is an iconic property located in Downtown Topeka consisting of Townsite Tower, Townsite Plaza and Townsite Commons. Since new ownership and management in July 2020, Townsite has been in Transformation Mode. Originally constructed in 1970 by First National Bank, Townsite has been and continues to be the office headquarters for many of Topeka’s prominent companies. The 16th floor, formerly know as Top of the Tower, has been transformed into a modern event venue and meeting space. Likewise, the space that occupies most of the first floor of Townsite Tower that was formerly the bank lobby is now Townsite Avenue Ballroom.
